About this deal

Being interested in spirituality myself, I really liked the descriptions of their art, views on life, as well as the simple but beautiful prayer before a meal that an extraterrestrial spiritual master uttered during their last meeting. This drawing is by someone who claims to have seen a flying saucer over the rooftops of Smethwick in Birmingham.

According to Ruppelt, by 1960 Adamski's UFO lectures, and in particular his first two books, had made him a wealthy man: "[His] hamburger stand is boarded up and he now lives in a big ranch house. In Adamski's wake other "contactees" emerged to spread the interplanetary gospel and to count the take at gatherings of the faithful. It gets really whacky when he talks about his contact with an alien and his theory of sound vibrations for their movement. In the 1955 book, Adamski claimed that his new friends took him aboard one of their scout ships, flew him to an immense mother ship hovering over the earth, gave him a ride around the moon and treated him to a colorful travelogue about life on Venus.

However, a few months later, Adamski told an interviewer that he had been "cleared" by the FBI, and displayed the letter as proof. Moseley interviewed Marley, who stated that he had never enlarged the photos for analysis nor found a "spaceman" in them, and did not know of anyone who had. When the two finally got around to communicating, it became clear that the Venusian had come to deliver a message. Georg… David Lloyd George , The English statesman David Lloyd George 1st Earl Lloyd George of Dwyfor (1863-1945), was prime minister from 1916 to 1922. Because he happened to live near Mount Palomar, home of the famous observatory, he was often misidentified as a professional astronomer.

This was proven in regard to the sworn testimony of witnesses present at the meeting described in Flying Saucers Have Landed. The most interesting and compelling aspect of his book is the repeated similarity of the sightings and eye witnessings of the UFO phenomena. In the summer of 1947, following the first widely publicized UFO sightings in the US, Adamski claimed he had seen 184 UFOs pass over Palomar Gardens one evening. The author met them on a few occasions on Earth where they lived and moved in disguise, and was then invited on board of their spaceships. When "believers" of UFOs divide into the usual 2 camps of Religious or Scientific, a strange thing happens: they both tend to discount the most extreme pioneers who studied and wrote about extraterrestrial life.
